SummaryPosition Purpose:
Oversee operations of the Cage Department and safeguard Casino monetary assets.Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Hire, counsel, terminate, and/or recommend staff for additional training.
- Coordinate, as necessary, with other Casino departments and the gaming commission regarding cage operations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of paperwork.
- Schedule and assist cashiers in performance of position.
- Communicate with cash service providers as necessary (i.e., ATM, credit card, cash, and check cashing).
- Ensure compliance with Title 31 requirements as well as compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Responsible for drafting the annual department budget and working within the parameters of the budget as approved.
- Monitor the W2-G and 1042-S programs
- Notify CFO of any discrepancies.
- Notify Purchasing Agent of inventory levels to keep all supplies in stock.
- Perform cashier duties as needed, not to exceed 20% of work schedule.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Maintain a high level of integrity while observing the confidential nature of the position.
- Recording cash transactions and maintaining an accurate detailed log as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather Falls Casino Internal control policy Chapter 14 Title 31
- Any other duties as assigned by the CFO and/or CEO.

Education Level – High School Diploma required.
Experience – 2 years cash handling; inventory experience preferred; supervisory experience desirable.
Knowledge and Skills
Proven ability to work accurately with numbers and with handling cash.
Demonstrated ability to train and counsel employees.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees.Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Reasoning Ability
