Summary
Primary responsibility is to direct all activity within the Marketing Department; to position the casino as a leader in the industry, and to develop such programming and strategies as to ensure a favorable competitive position within the market.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Direct the activities of the Advertising and Media Relations Manager.
- Direct the activities of the Entertainment and Promotions Manager.
- Direct the activities of the Marketing Coordinator.
- Implement internal controls for the department.
- Provide analysis of marketing program benefits.
- Adhere to company and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Recording and reporting any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather falls Casino Internal control policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Reports to the General Manager. Direct reports to the Advertising and Media Relations Manager, Entertainment and Promotions Manager and Marketing Coordinator. Indirect reports: Casino Hosts and the Promotions Specialists. A team player within the Marketing Department and the property as a whole.Education and/or ExperienceEducation Level – Bachelor’s Degree in Business or JournalismExperience – With gaming oriented marketing programs,Special Skills/Certification – Strong organizational skills with a big picture orientation, Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsFlexible mindset and Good computer skills.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
