Position Purpose:
Collect and analyze data to evaluate casino programs and provide recommendations to increase revenue and efficiency. Monitor, evaluate and report revenue trends in all casino revenue centers, including marketing, slots, table games, food and beverage, and lodging.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
        • Understand data/analytical needs based on business and requests from users.
  • Update and analyze the player database to provide accurate, insightful and accountable information.
  • Perform cost/benefit analysis on proposed and ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Provide analysis in a timely and accurate manner; interpret results and present graphic illustration of findings and recommendations using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organize and format reportable data in a way that achieves the greatest level of understanding and relevance for the broadest audience.
  • Develop complex analytical reports that guide executive directors with informed, data driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with executive directors and department managers to review, draft, edit and finalize proposed report models.
  • Coordinate with Auditing, Accounting and MIS to identify and isolate required data and develop procedures for accessing data systems and software.
  • Prepare, collect and store data from various casino systems for electronic retention and retrieval.
  • Research, review and scrutinize data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Run routine queries and/or extractions for export to chosen reporting application.
  • Research industry trends to identify emerging products or technologies and evaluate existing products and technologies.
  • Summarize findings and provide recommendations to management so decisions are educated and informed.
  • Develop information required for management reports involving sales, margins and costs.
  • Maintain production reports, ad hoc reports, special request reports and spreadsheets for business users.
  • Provide extensive research and analysis on the response and profitability of casino programs.
  • Recording and reporting any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather falls Casino Internal control policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Education Level – College graduate and/or equivalent in experience
Experience – Three or more years of statistical analysis or related experience
Advanced PC skills, including expert knowledge of Excel to include advanced formulae, arrays and Pivot Tables, Microsoft Access, ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) and a general understanding of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and SQL (Server Query Language). Excellent analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Gaming industry experience is preferred.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions while providing optimum guest service.

Class “A” gaming license.
